i have a taurus pt 57 sc. seems to be an old and rare model. thats all what you find here! not much info on net.
can anyone help me with the following queries?

1. i want to buy a rail adapter to be able to fit laser sight as this model does'nt have an inbuilt one.
which one to buy?

2. also want to buy a stock conversion kit for my model. most conversion kits ask for under barrel rail slits. will putting an extra rail adapter help? is there any kit that accommodates pistol without under barrel rail?
again which one to buy?

please help me out as i am going crazy looking for these accessories!

thanks.

I doubt that you will be able to locate a rail system for a gun never imported in any numbers into the United States. Nobody makes them for PT92s or PT58s, either. It would have to be custom made.

When you talk about a stock kit, do you mean a butt stock, like the old Browning HP, and Lugers had? If so, in America, they are severely restricted by BATFE.

I've now seen a couple of these .32ACP pistols for sale on auction sites. Magazines are rare, and accessories are non-existent.

I believe that the PT57 sc is closer to the PT58, or PT58HC frame than the PT92. You have the PT57sc, and you can access the dimensions of the M9 Beretta ( Model 92), so you can make comparisons more easily than us.

...ditto on what JR said...
You can still get the PT57 from Taurus Brazil. It is the .32ACP version of the PT58. I get mags for the PT57 here in South America for $30USD a piece. When looking for accessories for the PT57/58/59 you can TRY accessories made for the Beretta 84/85. Just as how you have similarities between the Beretta 92 and the Taurus PT92 you also have similarities between the PT57/58/59 and the 84/85.

The Browning BDA is also similar but I recently bought an Uncle Mike's #1 IWB holster for the Beretta 84 and a #2 ITP holster for the Browning BDA. The IWB holster first perfectly but the ITP holster looks like it is made for nothing much bigger than a Millennium Pro. I'm now waiting for a Desantis Pocket-Tuk Holster for the Beretta 84/85 Gun.

BTW I have also seen a .32ACP version of the Taurus PT92

The Beretta that is closest to our PT-57SC is the Beretta 83. While the Beretta 84 and 85 are similar in design to the 83, the 83 has a 4" barrel like the 57 while the other two carry a 3.8" barrel.
