FIRST letter means the YEAR, beginning with A in 1981 to Z in 2006. Returned to A in 2007, changing the second letter for month.
SECOND letter means the MONTH. A to L between 1981-2006. M to X from 2007
My serial number is OC218559, so manufactured March 1995?.

Right!
It's a Taurus Model 90.
Thanks for You The Taurus Guru

I have asked this from many FB group and gun forum, from local Taurus importer and from many gun shops in Finland, nobody don't know.
Fortunately I found this forum.and You!

Taurus model 90 is obviously a rare revolver?
I can’t find it in old brochures or gun books, so I had to search the internet for information.,

Not exactly rare, but Model 90 was made in far smaller numbers that other models, about 1:6 compared to .357 Magnum revolvers (all models included).

Here in Brazil, most of these revolvers were sold to shooting associations and Police academies as instructional guns. Very few were sold in gun shops.

I mean, it’s a rare model elsewhere than in Brazil. Google gave three hits.
In Finland, police gun license persons and gun shops do not recognize this revolver.
In FB revolver groups about everyone would guess the model 94. I know the model 94, I have had the model 941 (.22 WMR).

When I saw the revolver at auction, I noticed it was unused and I’ve never seen anything like it, so I bought it. The revolver was cheap compared to the S&W model 17 or model 18.
S&W model 17 costs € 400-600 and the model 18 cost over € 700 here in the gun shops, model 18 is very rare here.

Thanks Erick again

Revolver traveled to Finland via Germany.

My friend in Finland gave me the information:
Eagle = Germany
N = Nitro smokeless powder
Mellrichstadt is place of inspection

KF = 1995
Letters in Germany after year 1983 A=0, B=1, C=2, D=3, E=4, F=5, G=6, H=7, I=8,K=9

For some reason, Taurus factory support does not recognize the gun?

I agree. Taurus has to buy the service from you!
I don’t understand why they don’t recognize the 1990 gun?
Is it so rare that they don’t know about it like you know?

On Thursday, my summer vacation ends and I go back to duty. Then I can try it on the shooting range
