I'm not sure if this is the place or not but I was trying to find out when Taurus changed the Model 66 from a 6 rd revolver to a 7 rd. I can't seem to find anything about it on google and thought someone here may have better knowledge of when they made the change. Thanks for any help.

I don't have the exact year, somebody else can probably say for sure....it seems like it was in the late 90's or early 00's.

According to the BLUE BOOK OF GUN VALUES, always a handy guide, 1999 was the year of introduction of the 7 shot model of the 66.

I own a mid-1980s blued 66 and a stainless steel 7 shot version.
