Taurus model 617ss2

Hi I was wondering about the Taurus model 617ss2 stainless 2 inch in seven shot 357 mag. Does anyone know anything about this gun any problems they might have with it, I was deciding between it and the smith and wession 686 plus which is a seven shot also in the same caliber, but almost twice the money, which gun do u think will hold up better. thanks.

I've had the exact 617 you describe since May of 2003. Since that time I've put over 10K rounds through it with zero problems. It is superbly accurate & utterly reliable. I'd buy another in a heartbeat!
