I understand the Taurus PT 111Ti has been replaced by Taurus model 111PTi-12. Why is that and what is the difference?

Well the only difference I saw when it was available on the site was 111PTi was it held 10 rounds and the 111PTi-12 holds 12 just like the most recent issue of the other Pro series. If you search on Taurus site, for 111PTi you get both of them on same page. Probably still get the 10 rd version in the states that will not allow the other.
