It happens to every manufacturer. It shouldn't, but it does.

Mistakes can happen, all it takes is a moment of distraction, however I would think that the raw barrel stock would be kept separate from the machines ones.

What’s bad is there was a day and time you would have never seen something like that from Ruger. To me yes it proves it can happen to any company.There seems to be more and more company’s having QC problems all the time.

It's hard to get good help these days. One would think however that looking down the bore would be a basic QC function.

Gun sales are way up, and when production gets busy more mistakes are going to happen than normally would. Does seem like pretty lousy quality control to let that one get buy, though. Just when you thought you'd seen it all...
