After my last trip to the range I feel confident in the G2C For CC. After some research I settled on the Aliengear Shapeshifter 4.0 IWB. I hope it's as comfortable as a lot of people say. It looks to be a very well made holster. I'll let everyone here know what I think of it after I wear it for a week.

Here's a photo from their website.

I had a 3.0 for my Kahr, sold it to a friend, just too bulky for me. A lot of it had to do with the Florida climate. I just got a Clinger V3 for the G2C that I don't have yet, but I played with some and it conceals well using my Kahr. We'll see. Hope you enjoy that holster, they are nice, just not for me in this climate.

I hope it works out too. Florida has a brand of sticky hot all it's own. Kentucky with a little bit of winter is to our liking.
Just got an email that it's on the way. Probably see it Tuesday-Wednesday. I'll be sure to let you guys know.

It's Tuesday and the Shapeshifter holster came today, would of been here Monday but the mailman messed up. Ended well so no big deal. First off I have to say the this thing is very well made. It came ready to go with just a retention adjustment necessary. I may change the cant but will try the way it came first. Here's a quick video and some photos.

Wow seems you have a dog in this race.....lol.
The shell clips look pretty clunky compared to my original AG with the leather backer and screw attachment for the Kydex shell. I would be interested in hearing from someone who has worn both. I can see where the synthetic base would be a bonus in hot humid weather.

Looking forward to your real world test wearing.

I’ve been using the cloak tuck with a ruger sr9e IWB for almost a year. I’ve been super happy with the comfort and security the hard shell trigger guard gives. Retention is superb and easily adjusted. You won’t be disappointed.

I wore it for just a short time yesterday and right off the bat it was more comfortable than the other 2 holsters I have. I don't like to appendix carry so this is going to work out for me I do believe.

Me too....I wear mine at 430, it hides well and is very comfortable.
Depends on your history. I have AG 3.0 and 4.0 for other guns. 3.0 had it's sweet spot of spreading the load out where 4.0 seems to be short clip radius if that makes sense. Short radius means some pants the loop is in the way making the gun be in a odd space. The adjust ability of the 4.0 is worth the trade off especially when you talk larger guns. When I tried out crossbreed I hated it even after break in. Almost as if I got to comfortable with the AG backing. When I'm not pocket caring I most likely will go this route.
Is the Alien Gear holster for the G2C the same as PT111g2 ? AG doesn’t list the G2C.

Should be to my mind, but call, chat or email them...they are nice folks!

The thing I like about the 4.0 over 3.0 is that retention snap feel and sound. Only downside is the wear marks on the trigger guard from it. Hope I didn't secretly set off OCD or something.

G2C yes G2S nope. Dimensions unless stated on here otherwise are the same.

It's listed on the website for use with the PT111 but they're the same gun really. I order it with no worries that it would fit.

So...after ten days, still like it a lot?
I'll let you know tomorrow after I wear it all day. Had family events that needed attention that kept me busy.

In response to Adamwest 436 the holster will fit the G2S, I live right down the road from the Alien Gear went in and tried it fit fine. The diminutions of both guns are the same only difference is the width of the grip.
