hi. is there a Taurus equivalence to the S&W model 36? Size and weight equivalence is what i'm looking for. i was thinking the Taurus M85 was close but i'm not too sure. anyone know? is the M85 slightly bigger? thank you.

My Taurus 85 uses the same holster as my Chief's Special. The 85 is a little heavier but the size difference is minuscule.

The 85 sounds like what you are looking but you might also consider the Rossi Model R35202FC. It is a stainless .38 snubby.

I taught a CWP class this weekend and one of the students did the shooting with her own weapon. It was the Rossi and it was a nice gun. The finish was great, action was smooth, and it shot right where she pointed it.

Is the Rossi different from the Taurus? Probably not but it does present you with a choice....
