I don't own one and never held the model 85 in my hand, but do own an 856UL and 605. I would guess there's a tiny amount in the cylinder thickness between the 85 and 856 due to 5 vs. 6 rounds. But aside from that, what difference is there between the length and height of the 85 vs. 856 and 605? You can also include the S&W 642 to the 85 for length, height, and thickness for those who own the different models.
There's a possibility of getting a used 85 fairly cheap, but it might not be worth it if I'm pretty much duplicating what I already have. Could be smarter to put the two bills toward a Colt or Smith. (I may have just answered my own question but would still like to hear)
