If you can rotate the cylinder while it is in the closed position, then you definitely have a problem.

If the cylinder rotates when open, that's no cause for concern.

I recommend that you contact Taurus warranty service (customer service).

They'll repair it / replace it for you.

Also, if the gun is less than one year old, they will pay for the shipping charges to send it back to them, but you must ask for it.
