FlaresideFord recently posted a comparison of the grips available for the Taurus 605 small frame revolver:
https://www.taurusarmed.net/forums/taurus-revolvers/186785-taurus-small-frame-grip-comparison.html

This started me on a search for the Uncle Mikes combat grip. I tried the ATI X grip and while it did fit(with some frame pin modifications), it put my hand too high and caused severe knuckle knocking. Too painful to train with. So I began a search for a resolution, After weeks of searching I lucked into an auction on ebay for an old new stock Uncle Mike's small frame combat grip.
Gun Firearm Revolver Trigger Starting pistol

Eureka it works great. Now my 605 is as comfortable to shoot as a S&W model 60. No more knuckle knock, full three finger grip, and decent recoil absorption from the rubber material. While my full power 357 loads still leave my hand with a bit of a buzz, I can shoot them much easier than before. I ran 35 rounds of 357 today along with 50 rounds of misc 38 special. No problems with the revolver or my hand. Finally I have this little wonder tuned to perfection. The trigger job I did, brought the DA pull down to a smooth 8lbs and the SA pull a quick 3.5lbs. In this configuration accuracy is outstanding for a snubby. The part number for the Uncle Mike's is 59008. All I had to do was size the frame pin to fit, and it installed easy.

The Uncle Mike's grips are to me hands down the best small frame Taurus grips I've handled. I'm glad you found one. Mine came from eBay too.

My 605 came with a rubber grip when I bought it several years ago. I like it very much. But that one you picked up looks even more comfortable. Nice find.
