I'm looking to buy a 444 ultralite and I was curious if Taurus makes a 44 mag carbine. I'd love to have a rifle that uses the same cartridges, so I don't have to buy different ammo. Thanks !!

You can find Ruger .44 carbines in both automatic and lever action for around $500.

Still haven't bought one, but I'm still looking. Saw a carbine lever action the other day for $400.

Not a Taurus, but a Marlin 1894:

Marlin Lever Guns are known for their strength and accuracy. Had a .45/70 version many many years ago.

Also a Puma:

Puma is the old Rossi lever Winchester 1892 copy under a different name. Barrel lengths (16, 20, and 24 inches) and finishes (Blue or Stainless) vary and supply seems strained like everything else.

Boy, you resurrected a blast from the past !! I'd still love to have one of these, but settled for a Marlin 30-30. It's on layaway and hopefully I'll have it out by Christmas.
