I've been wanting one of these, and this morning I got a stock-watch notification email that Davidson's Gallery of Guns now had them in stock. So I go to the site and they have 15 of them. I buy one, the price through my dealer was $304.49. I went back to check to see how many were left a few minutes ago, and they were down to 9, but the price had gone up to $330.74 through the same dealer!

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, if they sell fast enough they jack the price up. I wonder what the last one is going to cost?

In the past other 9mm revolver makers have advertised that .380's can be safely fired in them.

So if one had a 9mm Taurus M-905 it would be a "dual purpose" (round wise) revolver,

Since the .380 cartridge dimensions are slightly smaller, and it is a lower pressure round, safety shouldn't be an issue.

.380/9mm Para
Bullet .355/.355
Neck .373/.380
Base .374/.391
Rim .374/.391
Rim Thick .035/.035
OAL .984/1.169

It would probably work, my fascination with the .380 revolver is it's size, where the frame and cylinder are downsized to sub-J frame dimensions match the cartridge. I don't think you could do that with a 9mm. Should be a very compact carry gun, and a good companion or alternative to my TCP 738.

I shot 1 .380 acp thru my 9mm 905. The case swelled a whole lot, making it useless, I believe, for reloading. I won't shoot anymore thru my 905. Love the m380, tho. My daughter is currently carrying it.
