Good day, i'm planning to get a taurus 24/7 9mm compact pistol. I believe they do have the large frame and compact series of the 24/7. Which one can you suggest? the Large frame? or compact? Do they have the same performance, accuracy, etc. I would gladly appreciate any thought you might have on the 24/7 compact and 24/7 standard frame. And i would gladly appreciate any feedback on the 24/7 9mm compact size and 24/7 standard size. Thank you very much and have a great day.

I have the 24/7 C and love it. It is more accurate the more I learned the trigger pull. I found I was twisting my wrist. It took some practice but it feels right at home now.

Since you are already familiar with the the 909 why not go with it's cousin the PT911?Controls are similar in every respect. Nothing wrong with the 24/7.Fine gun. Manaul of arms is totally different from the 909.
That's why I'm including these links. 24/7 operating differently from normal DA/SA pistols make this something to consider and factors that go into a DAO type of trigger and compact pistol vagaries.

Man, if they could just shorten the grip!

If you click on the first pic it will enlarge. Then you can see that they did shorten the grip. However, if there isn't a shorter mag available the shortened grip doesn't do any good.

Muttmutt, do you have a shorter mag available? Could you post some pics if you do, the ones you did so far look great!

Did your PRO C come with the mag grip spacer? A good friend of mine just purchased the 24/7PRO C .40cal today, but I did not see the spacer in the box. Thanks!

If I remember correctly it was attached to the shot mag instead of the long mag. Just need to pull it off and switch it.

Compact guns are a little easier to conceal then other guns. Mostly because of the shorter grip, it's the part that is above the belt for IWB. As handguns get smaller, barrel and grip, it becomes harder to maintain accuracy of shots. But since use of handguns are used for less then 25 yds it's not that big a deal.

Now if your shooting bunnies or snakes it could make a difference, but for self defense not so much. 8)

MuttMutt I admire you I believe your one of the few that said "I was doing something wrong and I'm getting better."
I had to learn these guns and get back in the groove of shootin myself. It's nice to see a guy thats man enough to admit this instead of saying Taurus is a "CRAP" gun.
Thanks

Does the 24/7 have a long hard trigger pull like the S&W Sigma? Sounds like it. I hated the Sigma at first, but once I learned trigger control, it made me an expert with all my guns! I'd like to try a 24/7 as well.

Hello guys...thank you very much for all the opinions you shared on my post...muttmutt...thanks for the pictures....great gun! I love the looks of it...I'll check it out to see for myself so that i would know the difference..and considering the 1911 as well and other compact pistols..however, i believe i would go the 24/7 compact. again, thank you very much for all the replies. If you have other opinions regarding the 24/7 compact....do not hesitate to post it here..have a great day.
