Was just wondering on a scale from 1 - 10, how difficult is it to dis-assemble the striker/firing pin assy on pt145 ? I have never gone further than field stripping, and am relatively new with guns. I made the mistake of spraying remoil in the firing pin hole. I thought it was a good idea at the time. I am now wanting to take it apart to clean excess oil out... thanks

Disassembling the stiker/firing pin assembly is about a +5 on the "Don't mess with it" scale.

Can you change your own spark plugs in a 2000 or newer car? = +2

Can you replace the fuel filter on your 2000 or newer car in less than 20 minutes? = +3

Can you replace fuel injector "O" rings on your 2000 or newer car, and understand why it was necessary? = +5

Can you diagnose why it runs like poo-poo.... +7...

Some where here, I heard someone say, soak the thing in you cleaning solution, blow the debris out with air, compressor, or the canned computer variety. Then reoil everything and clean no deeper. I have not had to do so yet, but sounds easier than trying to get that striker apart and back together.

I just shoot some RemOil down the hole once in awhile and that's about it.
