In Columbus, wife's doing water therapy right next door at a private fitness club. So, I asked 'em about the new Springfield XDe. They'll probably be getting one next month. I have a month to talk myself out of it. Price is decent, about $460. MMMmmmm, I'm sure thinkin' about it. I sure like the gun.

Anyway, as I was there, anyhow, I took a pic of that Bren they've got. Can't read the sign for the glare, but they want 4500 bucks for it and it's converted to semi-auto.

I went by the (sort of) best area LGS this afternoon with an "open to buy" from our family bookkeeper/accountant- (my loving wife...). Nada... There was nothing I wanted! How often does that happen?

(Went by the jewelry store instead and got her a pretty little tennis bracelet. Keeping my credit line open...)

Cooper, I know whatcha mean. Whenever I visit a gun store, whether my local favorite or one I've never seen before, I walk around and look and listen for those certain ones that call out to me. Sometimes I see and hear nothing. Other times one or two will call out and share a story with me, try to get me to take them home.

My g'daughter loves to go to the pet store to pet th rabbits, guinea pigs and other assorted furballs. Just like gun shops, I always see a puppy or kitten I want o take home.
