I've come across a Stevens model 416 .22rf, bolt, mag fed 5 rnds - has a 26" bull brl and a really cool Redfield #75 SV peep sight (peep has crosshairs!) It was purchased used about 35 yrs ago by my neightbor, don't know what he paid for it. Just wondered if anyone has info on this rifle or it's approximate value? It's about 80% condition and a tack driver.

Here are the facts as known.

Five shot detachable magazine.Weight:9.5 pounds. 26 inch heavy barrel. Made from 1937-1949.Target walnut stock. Very good condition:$350. Good condition:$200. Fair:$150. Poor:$100. Some of this may be already known or obvious. Since it is a tack driver and is listed as a target model rifle, it makes sense that it would be very accurate.

Seems like a very nice rifle indeed.
