Last August we started a Two Word Game that has since expanded to more than 276 pages with over 2700 posts. People seem to enjoy it.

The forum from which I got the idea also has a Thee Word Game that is even more popular. I am a member of that forum, and find the Three Word Game offers more opportunity to express ideas and thoughts, and be more clever, than just two words.

So, the question - do you want to start a Three Word Game in the New Year? The caveat is that, if we do, we will close the Two Word Game so as not to turn TA into a game forum.

The voting booth is open until the New Year.

How would the three word game work? Change the third word only?

It's the same as the Two Word Game - last word of the previous post is the first word of the next post.

We haven't used up all the two-word combinations yet!

I did vote for 3, however. Can we try something more challenging like reusing words 2 & 3 in each subsequent post, rather than just reusing word 1?

Good question, DB, but we'll keep it simple.

Why not reuse words 1 & 3?

Or words 2 & 3 with the order reversed?

Nah, better keep it so it doesn’t confuse anyone — how about just re-use the last word?

Oh — that’s what you already said.
