Springfield is making a double stack XDS in 45acp now. I'm very interested.

Only slightly related but some time ago I shot a friends full size 9mm Mod 2 and it's a very nice pistol. I would expect the same from the .45

I own the subcompact XD Mod2 in 45acp and it's my primary carry gun. It's got the best trigger pull of any handgun I own, most likely. I can imagine that this gun is a winner.

Considering the S in XDS stands for Single (Stack), it stands to reason

I do like the look of the Mod 2, (especially since it doesn't say "grip zone on it ) look forward to seeing it in the wild!

I really like mine. One of the complaints about the XDS, was the grip texture being too aggressive, looks like the softened it alot... of course, now the complaint will be, not grippy enough.

Those chunky blocks on my xdm didn't do enough for me during a couple summertime handgun courses, so I made mine grippier.
