This past Tuesday, the 13th, I picked up a new Springfield
Champion Loaded 1911 pistol. Four inch barrel, stainless, with the
ambi-safety & two seven round magazines. Oh yeah, & it has the
tritium low profile night sights, with the hardwood cocobolo grips!

So far, I've only put 95 rounds through it; & the trigger is a bit
tight. But as soon as I put at least another 300 rounds down range,
I'm gonna get a trigger job. Very nice pistol, the Springfield is. Now,
I am gonna attempt to post some pics.

just curious, does it say made in brazil on the frame?
Yes it does, Ace. As it turned out, I took photos
from the right side of the pistol; & you can see on the
frame, "Made in Brazil," on all four photos.

I still need to get those photos smaller when I download them.
Thanks for all the nice comments on the pistol. It's one sweet
firearm!

That's the same one I have pioneer; good gun; but I did put some bigger hogue grips on it which made it 100 times more comfortable for my hands.

Springfield 1911s are very nice from what I've read about them.

Went to the range with a buddy from work and he has a mil-spec springfield 1911... very very nice gun.

I hav a Springfield GI Micro Compact. Similar to the Champion above but 3" barrel and a shorter grip. It is a handful to shoot but also very fun.

Very nice! I am a huge Springfield fan. I have a modified A1 and an Ultra Compact.

1911 A1 set up for Limited 10 competition

The Ultra is on the right. The other one is a RIA Bull Barrel Commander.

Hey MCPreacher, I meant to comment on your 1911's.
Very nice pistols! Did you reload all those rounds? :)
