I really think you should send that ugly thing to me and I will be very careful of where I expose it to the public! :D

I love it and would snap one up like that in the blink of an eye...no thought needed!

That's a good lookin' pistola! I love those single actions too, and the Rugers are built to take a poundin'! :thumb:

Ok, I gotta admit thats the oddest looking 1911 that i have ever seen!
so where exactly does that magazine go into the gun??I
figured in the grip but it looks to curved for it to fit in there???
Seriously thats a nice looker I had no idea they offered it n a 45 acp.
The grips look like a cross between the blackhawks and the old bear cats to me.
they are comfortable though.

That gun is the definition of a 'snubby' in the 1870's. :D

Love single actions. I have a Colt replica made by the Sig Sauer company back in the 50s or 60s. (Stamped JP Sauer & Sons). Mine is blued with walnut and 5 1/2 barrel... I LOVE the gun... nothing like .45 Colt to perk up a target. I can't shoot a normal revolver well but single action is another story... it is VERY VERY accurate and once you get the hang, can be fired rapidly. As far as 6 shots being enough; well, I never carry more than 5 with the chamber empty as mine goes bang very easily if dropped or bumped. A round in there isn't a great idea when the pistol is in holster. I have a very nice western rig, btw:. I wear it out on the property sometimes... Hope TX gets open carry some day.

Nothin' ugly about that! I do believe that any one of us would be proud to own one. Congrats!

I have another revolver that uses 45 Acp. other than this one....The 1911 mag is a great way to carry extra ammo ...those are Birdshead grips..very comfortable..the gun balances great...if I keep the Vaquero I will carry it some ...
