Love single actions. I have a Colt replica made by the Sig Sauer company back in the 50s or 60s. (Stamped JP Sauer & Sons). Mine is blued with walnut and 5 1/2 barrel... I LOVE the gun... nothing like .45 Colt to perk up a target. I can't shoot a normal revolver well but single action is another story... it is VERY VERY accurate and once you get the hang, can be fired rapidly. As far as 6 shots being enough; well, I never carry more than 5 with the chamber empty as mine goes bang very easily if dropped or bumped. A round in there isn't a great idea when the pistol is in holster. I have a very nice western rig, btw:. I wear it out on the property sometimes... Hope TX gets open carry some day.
