Is it just that the Mil Pros are new or is it just not enough demand for aftermarket mags and such? I know i can pick up holsters and sites.

I would buy the Mags from Taurus if they are in stock.
Unless you have a 1911, most cloned mags for T guns suck as far as I am concerned.
I never had any luck with them, they never fit or seat right.
Save your $$$ and buy direct.

When you get right down to it, there isn't much you can do with a Mil Pro that hasn't already been done, aside from changing the sights and attaching whatever to the rails. It's just not an erector set like some of the other models and brands. I bought Taurus mags for my PT-145 at www.wholesalehunter.com for $34 + shipping. These are the real deal.

Budsgunshop dot com had mags for $29 last time I checked.

With Taurus changing/upgrading their models every few years, we may never get aftermarket support. Somebody made 1st gen Mil Pro mags, but they won't fit anything else so they seem to have quit trying to keep up with Taurus's changes.

Yeah, not too many accessories. I would like to change to night sights. This is about all I have seen.
