Excellent deal, if it's in good shape. I've got a soft spot in my heart for the S&W model 65 because it was my very first gun. I bought it in 1992 for $200. So $29 more in 2008 is muy bueno. Good job !!
Sounds like you got a good deal. It might not be a bad idea to have a smith check it over for any bushing or springs that need replacing. Also, what barrel length did you get?

I had a M13 4" for a while (same basic gun but blued). It worked decent but I never did find a set of K frame grips that felt real good to me, and I've had a couple of K frames to experiment with. It funny, the OEM grips on my Taurus M65 work just fine.

Sounds like a fair deal to since you mentioned that it's in good shape. Now we need pictures though. ;D

its got a 4inch and it came from a amerd car trade in the triger is excelent in dounle action and and in single action is as nice as a tourus 1911 can I use this revolver for full pounding magnum loads
That depends on how you feel about the whole full power using lighter bullet thing. There is a flat spot on the forcing cone that sometimes cracks with the 125gr loads. I haven't heard of any issues with the heavier bullets. Here's some articles with more information:

Now, I'd shoot what I wanted to and not worry about it, especailly with what you paid for it. But you may chose differently.
