This like new 22-4 came in the shop last week and I tried to resist but it hit a bunch of my weaknesses. Blued Revolver, 45ACP, Never been fired and a great deal! I was hooked.

Planned on shooting today but since the rain had other ideas I decided to check out a few pawn shops, last one I stopped in had a BlackHawk holster for it for $40, talked to guy down to $30 OTD. Been carrying it around the house all afternoon, I think this thing is going to get carried a lot!

Yea, the 25s and 625 are much more common. It's a re-release of the classic M1917.

AHHH! I see!
the Mod 25/625 is the one that i am most familiar with!
Actually the very best trigegr that i have ever felt on a revolver was a #625 that my gunsmith owns, simply a thing of beauty.
Course honestly now with the S & W i get confused at anything above the #20, I guess I wasn't born with enough fingers or toes to go above that model.!!

I thought the lines on that were reminiscent of the 1917. Thanks for confirming that! Is that barrel shorter, though?

Beautiful revolver, and since I'm a .45 guy, I'm envious!

Hope you can find some ammo for that beauty. Shoot straight and shoot often.
Looks good. I've been wanting to get my hands on a 45 ACP revolver with a 4" barrel, not been having much luck though. Been seeing the M22 with the 6" barrel at the last few guns show....

Yeah,

Most 1917s had 6" barrels
