Look hard enough and long enough and eventually you'll come up with what you've been looking for, I can't recall how many years I have been looking for a nice condition Smith 34, yeah have seen a few along the journey either in beat condition or asking a ridiculous price, if I told ya what I traded it for you would not believe me, remember the smith 34 depending on condition goes for $400-$800 it's a classic and very sought after in good condition. I'll post some photos of it in a few weeks, came with three sets of original smith logo grips and two sets of aftermarket grips ..like the fella on the TV series Duck Dynasty would say "Happy, Happy, Happy ....
Yes sir, mine is the 2" barrel I'd grade it at 95% sweet shooting kit gun, just learned why they call it a kit gun. It's like a history lesson reading about how these fine handguns evolved ...
Really nice smith 34 after a lot of reading on what the weapon is worth also found that the original box and instructions booklet is worth a lot of bucks, owners are looking for original boxes and will pay like I said good bucks and yours looks to be in mint condition, nowadays first thing you do when purchasing a new handgun is open to box it came in and file it in the trash can, wrong hold onto the boxes, makes the price of the weapon more appealing when you go to sell it down the road ...
