Just watched this video by The FireArm Guy on YouTube. He demonstrates that the PT111G2 slide will not fit on the G2C frame. So those with custom modifications to slides should know they will not mount on the G2C. It is a short video.

I guess that's good for us G2 owners who want a slightly better slide or need it later on down the line. My G2 inside was horrible to the point it cut grooves into my barrel hood on all 3 sides.

I like the frame, and the way it feels, of the PT-111 G2 better than I do the G2C. I like the G2C slide better because of the removal of the security system. Wondering if I Frankensteined the two using the G2C slide if it would lead to any future issues?????

Yes, probably a bad sequel and a dozen poor knock-offs!

I saw this video today, and figure that the removal of, and old existing infrastructure of the security system may lead to the weirdness of one working one way and not the other.

From what I was told from another Taurus owner in person, the barrels are different and some of the G2C are still labeled G2. Only difference I seen is the inside of the G2C slide where the barrel hood contacts the slide is more smoother and doen't contact it as much as mine. Has anyone figured out the numbering system on the bottom of the barrels?

My gun was built according to chart as "A 9MM in August of 2017" and the barrel is marked "NA7"

I just purchased a g2c and the frame says pt111g2a but slide is g2c my barrel had a part number on barrel and no serial number on it at all nor on breach of barrel. I bought in store as brand new thought I got ripped off. I called taurus they said it's normal
