I have a problem in the Summer with sweaty hands and fingers and pulling the slide back on my pistols at times.
Even thought slides have serrations for improved gripping, my fingers still slip.
I have found a solution. I got some 3M textured outdoor strips. 2"x9" strips that can be cut to fit the slide. They are non-skid tapes used on walk ways and ladder steps.

The tape is easily removed and do not harm the finish of your gun.
My problem solved.
