About the same weight as the P938 and lighter than the PT-111. Dang nice. The few reviews are all good, but that isn't a surprise. That P365 could make me leave my PT-111 at home, but the street price of the pistol and mags in the future will be my deciding factor. Extra mags are $55 right now... no way I am going there.

I wish that I could get excited for yet another striker-fired, polyer-framed, 9mm pistol with a matte black finish, but unfortunately I can't find a valid reason to even own one of them yet, and even if I could I'd probably keep it simple and just buy one of the proven ones already on the market.

Seriously, there are more cartridges in existence than .380 ACP and 9mm Luger. Would it kill firearms manufacturers to offer something in .40S&W, .357 SIG, .45 ACP, perhaps something a bit more exotic like .38 Super or 5.7x28 FN? You know, just for the sake of variety.

Oh well, at least 10mm Auto seems to be making a comeback.

another feeble attempt by a company to enter into the sub compact 9mm arena. revolutionary 10+1 design. except for the fact that the p11, sccy, and even the g26 have been doing that for years.

and btw - its either a single stack or a double stack - you cant just call it a 1 1/2 stack. if the rounds stagger its a double stack. even the shield tried to use that same bs lingo.

I was going to post, but am glad I searched first. I really, really want that P365. I don't need it, but I want it. Hoping for the price to drop a bit after a year or two.
Don't ya just hate it, "want it, but don't need it"? I'm doing that same mind wrestle right now over the new Springfield XDe, but as it's a might more affordable, I might end up with it. My main problem is it's available in 9x19 or .45ACP. The .45 holds 6 or 7 rounds depending on magazine used and the 9 is 8 or 9 rounds IIRC. I'm tending toward the nine as I shoot my nines more than .45s because I have more brass and other reloading components for 'em and ammo is cheaper. As to effectiveness, IMHO, 6 of one, half dozen of the other. BUT, I have a nice Kel Tec sub 9 as well as a full size Ruger P85. The Springfield is compact and light, but the Kel Tec is compacter and lighter. :D Maybe I'll talk myself out of it, or not, who knows? I don't have a sub compact .45, so that would be an addition to the arsenal that wouldn't repeat itself.

As to the new Sig....meh, just another striker gun. I'll pass.
