Sig p365

Well after a lot of reading and waiting for any info and hands on videos I really wanted this gun.

What finally made me pull the trigger tonight was Brownells having a coupon code and the fact that they dont charge tax outside of Iowa. I have pre-ordered the 365 for the incredible tax free price of $460 shipped. My total cost will be $495 after transfer.

I believe this gun will be a game changer with its capacity and Sig toughness. Not to mention the smallest physical size among all of the competitors in its class.

I dont currently have a "single stack 9mm" and have wanted something I can more easily carry IWB or even pocket besides my Bodyguard.

Hopefully it turns out to be a great EDC.

Only seen pictures of this one. You'll have to post up some pictures! ;)
Here is a link to Sig’s web-page for the P365 and a quick peek at one.

I will for sure share all I can. Might be a few weeks though.

It is a snazzy new gun and I am sure it will sell well. The magazine is a double stack 10 so if you carry a PT709, you get 3 more chances. I compared the specs of this gun to my Ruger SR9c and there is not enough difference for me to switch, particularly since the second magazine is a 17 round with the Ruger. As far as aesthetics, the SIG is the winner, particularly since all the safety stuff on the Ruger detract from its looks, especially the loaded chamber indicator which looks like a railroad crossing arm. Let us know how you like it after a range trip!

I already have a 13 rd XD sub compact. The 709 and stufff like that are all taller and wider. This will be the most comfortable for me as I'm trying to carry IWB more.

You can also realistically pocket carry this gun.

So it's a 709/740 with a bit more capacity?

No thumb safety though. Pass; I'll stick with my PT740. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it though!
No. It's smaller than all of those. And the safety is your brain.

It is smaller than the ruger lcp II.
Here is a great video showing size comparison

I held one in my greedy little hands last week! I liked it better than I thought I would (one of my primary carry guns is a Sig P290, my only Sig).

Yeah - I just traded a Kahr CW9 and am thinking of adding another small 9 back in its place. The 365 turned my head! I’ll know more when they hit shelves.

I really wish Sig didn't do this. I need another pistol like I need another hole in my head, but it is very tempting. One thing I noticed on Sig's website was the cost of spare 10 round mags at $49 a piece.

I might be better off with a PT709 in each pocket and call it quits.

I'll give it a couple years for the shinyness to wear off and pick one up for $349 ;)

Held one today at my LGS, it was a nice little package, trigger was nothing to
get excited about, and if you have large hands keep your support hand thumb pulled back...............
I would entertain the thought of one, but in my hands it felt a little off. My finger under the
trigger guard felt cramped..................

SIG uses MAP pricing. Unless the LGS is taking a huge dump I guarantee you'll never see that price.

Yep. That’s why I don’t do much more than raise an eyebrow and take notes. Once it’s in my hands and I see how it points, sights, etc. AnD that’s only if the mag price is not off the charts. ;)

Seeing that you can get a P320c for $349 right now i'll take make chances and hold out....
Different gun. Different cost. The LGS is probably making 10 bucks at that price. That's a 499 gun versus a 599 gun.

I thought I saw where the P365 was going to have an option for a safety or no safety. I prefer no safety myself.
