So... ANOTHER 24/7 Magazine post. But this one comes with a proposed solution.

I happened to come into a Sig 229 40 S&W magazine. I popped 5 dummy rounds into the magazine, loaded it in to my Taurus 24/7 PRO LS in 40 S&W, it fed and flung all 5 rounds. Magazine caught on the catch and released PERFECTLY. HOWEVER. It felt like the slide was running up the magazine and at full-steam that there could be some serious issues in having the slide slam into the magazine when picking up the next round.

So my question then ISSSSS... where do I go from here? What would you guys start to look for as to where to shave things down? Has anyone modified a 229 magazine to fit their 24/7 before?
