Your local hardware and lumber emporium.
Use various 1 x material and a few screws or nails.
That is the way they shipped artillery overseas for years in the military.

Well now I must admit I have saved the boxes I received -- they're all in the closet. Not even sure why I saved them ...

Several are nondescript cartons from sellers. Several are factory boxes.
