If I send a gun in for repair (not necessarily Taurus) does it have to ship back to an FFL for me to pick up?

Thought I read somewhere that if it ships to the same addressee it can ship right to
their residence.

I assume I'm going to have to be present to sign for it?

They're surely not going to just leave it at the door.

I believe that will depend on local ordinances!
they differ from state/ municipality I do believe!
Here they can be direct shipped to the residence.

IF I am not mistaken "AN ADULT" must be there to sign for it, I don't think it has to be YOU.

Now that is the funniest thing I ever read right there. Well at least in my area they don't care if it is plastered with adult signature required on every side they will toss it by the door and leave.

A friend has a class 3 license and they did leave machine guns at the front door. Also, ups had left 3 M-60s at the roll up door at an Army reserve section at O'Hare field. It was not a secure area. ANYONE could have driven away with three brand new M-60s and no one would have known who.

well since Fed -X has gone digital its like most things now days, the driver doesn't have to be able to read to keep/get a job I guess?
Hell the Fire department hired secretaries that didn't need to be able to type or spell, and engineers (pump drivers) that didn't need to be able to multiply, they just invented a board to tell them what to pump, hopefully.
