Went to the Mesquite gun show today, and they had handgun powder. I ended buying a 4 pound jug of Win 231, and a one pound container of IMR4227. Man, I'm ready to do some reloading !!!

I'm sure that most know about Win 231 and HP38 being identical powder.....so four pounds should be very versatile. It was either the powder I bought, or Titegroup, which I really like, but there are many more recipes for the Win 231 / HP38 in my books.

4227 metered better than any powder that I've tried.
