Ruger PC-9 I finally found one.

Snagged one on Gun Broker tonight. I love the heck out of a good pistol round carbine. I think the PC-9 is going to be a decent investment. I just wish it came with an underfolder stock like my old AK clone.

Never dealt with a Gun Broker sale before. I hope it all goes smoothly.

I've seen 1 video review on it and it looks like a great rifle! Congrats!

Looks nice :thumb:

Just follow the GB steps and e-mail your contact information to the seller, making it easier for them to contact you if needed. I've bought several guns and gun parts through GB, the only problem I have had was patience. The transactions all transpired seamlessly.

Only thing I ever bought off Gunbroker is a .50 caliber CVA Plainsman which didn't require an FFL middle man. I'm not sure I wanna mess with 'em with cartridge guns. I mean, if I got used to using them, my savings could just disappear!

Congrats on your new gun.

That is a problem, I'm going broke, saving money on GB.

I got one from Kentucky Gun over a month ago. Really nice shooter, just a hoot. After about 450rnds I sent it back to Ruger because the last round hold open.....wouldn't...never did. But other than that it was flawless with anything I fed it. Put a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot on it with a high riser and can use the fixed sights also. I have compatible mags from a SR9c and Glock so I can choose my poison.

Hopefully Magpul comes through with a backpacker stock for these too. :D

I got mine off GunBroker and took delivery at the end of March. Haven't got a chance to shoot it yet. The fit and finish is very good and really feels good. It has a solid "rifle" feel. I got it primarily as a travel gun [by car]. It breaks down very quickly and fits in a tennis racket bag for concealment. I have a Ruger SR9c so I can carry 2-10 round mags for the pistol and 2-17 round mags for the rifle.

I like that the barrel can be removed for cleaning, but I'd like to see an underfolder designed like this become available to make it more compact & handy in tight places. Steak knife optional.

Picked this up from my LGS today. I will say that the build looks impressive and purposeful. Only thing I dislike is the ugly black stock. On the plus side, if I ever need an emergency boat oar, I won't be wrecking any wood.

I sort of wanted a red dot, but I don't find them all that accurate, so this old Bushnell 4x will have to do for now. A CT laser is on order.

Man this rifle is black. Being that it's a PC model, maybe I ought to cover it with some snowflake stickers.

For some reason, the Politically Correct 9 doesn't appear as people friendly as its old .44 grandpa.

Haven't found any snowflake stickers, so I settled for my daughter's toenail polish.

I ordered a 2 pack of SR9 mags for $41 delivered from Grab-a-Gun. Still waiting for the free CT laser to come. Meanwhile, I found a nice black leather braided belt at Goodwill for two bucks and turned it into a sling.

Yet this PC derivative still has a rather gloomy, dark side of the force look to it. If it were any color but black. It looks as though they stuck the barrel into an injection mold, full of the black plastic crap you’d find under the hood of your car. In an attempt to apply a friendlier styling cue, I slobbered a little more of the daughter's Ruger red toenail polish on the stock, once I determined acetone wouldn't eat or discolor the plastic.

As I fiddle with it , the more I like it, but it does have some room for improvement. One thing I noticed about the barrel is that it is close to being a free floater. With slight effort, a dollar bill will slide between the barrel and forend. A small amount of plastic sanding would eliminate contact.

Then say you want to break it down for backpacking, the barrel's locking lugs become exposed to possible damage from handling and foreign debris. The stock could have a storage niche to hold a protective cap for the barrel, and maybe a plug for the receiver. And since there's a threaded muzzle, it'd be nice if the protective nut had a place to be held if a muzzle accessory is employed. A place to store the provided hex wrenches would be nice if you wanted to adjust the rear sight or remove the stock in the field.

Nice updates!! Sweet idea on the belt. And the white and red paint do a fine job of breaking up the sea of black.

As for the optics, I recommend the Holosun HS403C with the tall riser. It will allow the use of both the red-dot and the iron sights:

You can always employ a QD or slide-to side magnifier for longer shots......but I have yet to see the need.

As for all the black......It's growing on me.

Is that a Romulan Ruger you have there? Dueling charger handles, I love it! The flash suppressor will probably be standard next year and Ruger will have these stocks squirted into the colors of the rainbow making them more PC.

Red dot opticals are just the thing for hunting or urban warfare, but I like to use Hancock's range out to 300m limit. In perfect shooting weather I wrung out this old Turk and 1943 Turk ammo, managing to nail an old frying pan. That was a few years back, today I need glass.

With a cheap Tasco, w/mil-dot reticle, we were knocking down bowling pins @300m with this comical looking rig.

My Oly had a red dot and scope for both up close and far away. This rig was accurate to the point of boredom once I dialed my favorite reload in. For urban strife, those little red dots you speak of, just can't be beat.

As for now, I'll have to settle with the old 4x38 Bushnell.

Hey, that looks just like the PC Carbine I ordered last week from GunBroker and picked up yesterday afternoon. I also bought a Sig mini red dot sight for it.

And, you’re right - they’re rarer than unicorns. Got 2 LGSs here and only one has even received a single rifle. The other one hasn’t seen any and don’t expect to see any any time soon.

Were you surprised at how much that thing weighs? Mine comes in just at 10 lbs! Easily twice the weight of its little brother (10/22) and just under the weight of my Savage 30-06 and my Henry 357 MAG levergun combined.

I actually like the black color; wish my 10/22 was all black. Alas it is old fashioned jungle style (think Vietnam) camo. I would even prefer “desert digital brown” spawned during the Middle East wars.
