Nice pics!

How would you compare the recoil between regular .38 Special, .38 Special +P, and .357 Mag? Is the +P closer to the Mag or the regular special?
I got only one comparison, regular target 38 special vs Winchester 357 hollow point. If you been shooting 9mm its like comparing 9mm to 22 caliber and 357 45 caliber with this small gun, it's no fun at all. Maybe with gloves I can tolerate it a bit.

I don't think I'd like shootin' it either. However, that LCR is a great choice in the fact you have opened up your ammo selection if needed.

The LCR is a handfull with the full house 357 loads but not unbearable. I admit the first time I shot mine with 158 grain full power loads I said Aw-S*** but after shooting it a bit and adjusting my grip it became easier to handle. Still not a gun I will recommend to the feint of heart but I wanted a small lightweight gun with some punch to carry and it fits the bill nicely.

I'm pretty sure I can handle shooting 357, it's just not practical, a 38 special hollow point will do serious damage already compare to my 9mm..

Light Compact Revolver with full house 357 Mag Rounds?

Something has to absorb the recoil and if the gun doesn't have the weight to soak up much of the recoil guess what gets the job? Thats why I went with the Taurus 617. I can put up with carrying the extra weight and at 28 oz. around double the weight of the LCR the 617 does a good job of soaking up a lot of recoil.

Snubbies are noisy beasts to begin with and I can't imagine what a snubbie Alaskan in 454 Cassul would be like, but I doubt if it would be fun!
