Edit: the rail section is actually on both sides not the bottom. It is a very powerful little laser and seems to hold zero ok. Fun to add when plinking you can shoot from the hip and still make hits. Plus the bottom has a small rail for any crap you might want to hang off it like a swivel point which the 10/22 doesn't come with.
How reliable is the Butler Creek magazine?Yes sir! This is a great deal.

I'm not the greatest source I've only put maybe 100 rounds through the butler creek but they have steel lips. I think i had two ftf the first go round with it but it was super cheap lead nose armscore getting stuck. Ran cci and thunderbolt and it was fine. Like any magazine i think the spring is pretty tight to start. The Ruger BX I have did the same with the Armscore. How reliable is the Butler Creek magazine?Yes sir! This is a great deal.

Thanks! My first .22 and i went for cheap and funtional additions. Simmons scope and the cheek riser was because i put a peep through rail so i could use iron sights as backup. Was going to go with the Magpul Backpacker but with the Takedown i thought it was redundant...I actually like that a lot.
