The other day I broke down my 24/7 Pro and after I put it back together there was a small rectangular rubber pad, about a 1/4" wide and 3/8" long on the table. It had sticky glue on one side I was trying to figure out WHERE it came from on the gun best I can figure it was on the inside of the safety lever?

Do you see a little rubber pad on your safety?

If this pad IS on the safety it is rather cheap and poorly designed.

Is it the rubber cover from the back of slide?

Broke my .45 down and looked with magnifying glasses. Couldn't find a rubber pad anywhere.

Sorry I forgot to come back, I broke mine down aswell and could not find anything like you discribed. There is a small indent on the back side of the safety that looks to be about the size you said that rubber thing was but I dont see why there would need to be something like that on that part of the safety so Im still at a lose ???

Any chance it could be a left over scrap from manufacturing that for some odd reason didn't get removed from the firearm? Is it flexible or ridged?
