Sweet! Is that an octagonal barrel that I see? What are the specs and how does it shoot? Or is it another safe queen? ;) :D

i have that rifle....24 inch octagon. shoots lik a dream with a williams peep sight. my favorite rifle.

Nice. I have a 20" .357 magnum. It shoots well.

No photos handy, but I have two - a 357 and a 44. Both 20" barrels. The 357 is old enough to still have the Puma medallion.

From what I've read the velocity gains from longer barrels pretty much end somewhere around 18"-20" so I chose the 20" barrel for both of mine to keep them a handy length but still get max velocity.

The puma medallion on mine fell out about the second range trip. I have no idea where it is now. There's sort of a hole where it once resided. :laugh: Mines from about 1987.
