A friend of mine gave me his old grips from his Taurus and I was wondering,,,,how do you remove the grips off the Taurus Tracker model 616? Btw I have the ribbed squishy kind. Thanks

Moffett018, Welcome to the forum! The Tracker .44Mag has a allen head screw in the very bottom of the grip that will unscrew to remove the grips. Similar to the Hoage (sp)? grips. They screw into a stud that serves for a gripframe. Frank

To unscrew, go counter-clockwise.

Be advised that if you are putting on some Hogue replacements, you may need a longer hex screw. I did for my Tracker .45 Colt.

Very handsome grips on your revolver, Tracker Backer.
IMO, they make an aesthetically pleasing gun even nicer yet to behold.
