The interesting thing that popped into my head was that Remington is owned by the Cerberus Capital Management which also owns Bushmaster and Chrysler (among other stuff that I'd have to look up). According to the wiki page, they're also going to grab DPMS. Makes me wonder if they're going to go after a handgun company next.
