I haven't bought a Judge yet but it's on my want list but have a question. Maybe this has already been asked and if so sorry in advance.

I do reload and have dies for 45LC and had some sweet loads for a T/C Contender but they are the loads the manuals all say Contender (basically a hot +P) only. My manual is an older one, long before the Judge was a thought, so can you shoot hot loads thru a Judge or if I reload for it should I keep it more of a cowboy load. I assume if you had the Judge that can shoot 454's that then hot 45's wouldn't be a problem but I'm not looking at going that route.

Obviously from my questions, I haven't dug deep as to what flavor of Judge I want, other than I think it would be a great 4 wheeling, open carry on the farm gun. It might even do duty as a night stand weapon as well.

Sorry, that'd probably be a "no."

The SAAMI pressure for a 3" .410 shotgun shell is 13,500 psi.
The SAAMI pressure for a .45 Colt standard round is 14,000 psi.
The SAAMI pressure for a .45 Colt Ruger Only is 25,000 psi.

Assume the Judge you buy is only built to withstand regular .45 Colt pressures unless its a RJM.
