I went to the range had fun as always. Got home broke down my 24 7 .40 cal and cleaned it went to put it back together and cant get the recoil spring back in it is like it grew. I took the spring apart and made sure it was screwed back together all the way. Please help I dont know what to do to fix the problem

Call Taurus and ask them to send you a new spring. They might ask you to send in the old one. You can also just buy a new one. If I remember they are about $12.00, that was for my PT 111.
