My gun club was closed for most of the summer for range repair.
They did lead reclaiming and rebuilt the berms.
I had a chance to go up and shoot yesterday and ran into so members working on a tactical range.
I was thrilled when they asked me to give it a try and ran the timer on it.
I did it with my PT111 as it was in my belt.
Later without the benefit of a timer I ran it with my Hi Point and my PT809.
They have an event coming up which would be fun, but I can't make it.
Pics an a crummy phone video attached.

gotta love the hi point carbine. i know i love mine
It is one of my favorites and other than buy extra mags and ammo for it I have done zero to it. Never even touched the sights.
I think I'll probably clean it soon since I'm close to 1500 rounds.
It was such a pleasure to shoot that course as I could hit every target at varying ranges with no effort!😁

That's quite a testimonial. I may have to take a 2nd look at one of those then. 🧐

I contemplated one for way too long before buying it.
Shortly after I got mine realized I should have never listened to the negative comments about them.
I truly think it is one of those guns you can just leave in the truck and it will work when you need it.
If you want to take it apart and clean it as a hobby it's not for you.
If you want to shoot an accurate, reliable, and fun gun that is also a value....it is perfect!

Years ago I used to take the Boy Scouts camping, by the Hokendauqua creek on the cement plant's property, right next to that range. Great photos and video! Thanks for sharing it.
