Took the 605 out today and it shot extremely well and was accurate out to 30 yards. The Hogue grips that I installed on them helped control the weapon.

I shot Remington 158 grain LRN .38's and Remington Golden Sabre 125 grain JHP .38+P's. Both handled and shot well. The +P recoiled a bit less and I guess that is of the lighter slug.

I am going shooting with my girlfriend this week and teaching her how to shoot. I think she'll like this but we will see.

Always nice to have a shooting partner ;)
Just watch out because the womenfolk have a tendencey to out shoot us guys...lol :D
Especally when they have never shot.. :rolleyes:

Yup, she is looking forward to shooting this week. Another experience for she and I to spend together.

I'm probably going to pick up some more ammo tomorrow or tuesday. Get some .357 magnum rounds and some regular .38 specials.

Just got done cleaning all the guns I took oout today. Mini-14's can be a little tricky.
