I finally got to fire up some test loads for my Glock G20SF.
Glock is slightly modified (KKM drop in barrel,3.5 connector,6lb trigger spring, 22lb recoil spring TFO sights)
I am using Hodgdon's LongShot CCI 350 primers with a OAL of 1.260
8.5gr = 1170 fps
8.8gr = 1217 fps
9.0gr = 1275 fps
9.3gr = 1308 fps
9.5gr = 1330 fps

I had a few hiccups and farts thats why i didn't post E.S. or S.D.
one round with 9.0gr went 1935 fps.... :eek: and the slided locked back and i thought my mag was empty...it wasn't
I'll test loads 9.0gr - 9.5gr again for accuracy and then re-chronograph. I was execpting about 1280ish at max charge but got well over 1300 for an average of 1330 fps. I was really expecting an uncontrolable gun, but it shot fairly smooth with managable recoil.

How did that feel?
no different,sound wasn't different because of ear protection...I just noticed the slide was locked back and i looked at my chrony...
kinda scary after i thought about it... i checked all the cases in that load lot, no over pressure signs.... i figure the chrony was wrong
but why was the slide locked back? just don't know :confused:
