Rally at YOUR State Capital

There's a national movement organize and hold our own counter-protest in reaction to the "Children's March For Our Lives"

Let's all get involved and show them that we're a force to be reckoned with and we're every bit as determined and active as THEY are.

Time for us to show up, put our money (and time) where our mouth is, and actually DO something.

Will look into this.
Wow!
78 people looked at this thread over a period of 10 hours before anyone even bothered to reply?
No wonder the anti's are eating our lunch.
For me it's a matter that I do not do Facebook. Never have. Guess I'm antisocial!

Well looking at it from a wide view: their rallies are sponsored by Billionaires. They are organized by professional political operatives, the vast majority of folks that attend are being paid to do so in some or multiple forms. They typically don't work, so it easy for them to attend. They are driven to and from the events, provided food/drinks and entertainment...

As you can see, they do have some advantages over our folks who tend to have busy productive lives...

I have been to many rallies in AZ, the largest turnout ever that I saw? 300 +/-...

Flashback to 2013...

Governor of NY State Andrew Coumo rammed the NYSafeAct through a midnight session effecting all NY gun owners. 10,000 angry gun owners trample the Capitol lawn and cost the taxpayers $60,000 in new sod. No effect seen to legislation. I posted a whole thread of pictures on a few forums of multiple rallies. Gun owners of other States: "That will NEVER happen here."

The rallies were fun.

And Donald Trump was guest speaker at this one. It was fairly obvious he was going to run for office at the time, albeit not officially announced. Many thought he would be our Governor...

FreeInAZ said it perfectly! It is a lot easier to go to rallies when you don't have a job, or responsibilities. We all know that the majority of gun owners are productive people, who tend to have very little "free" time, with Family obligations, etc.
Not to mention, as FreeInAZ points out, the antis are being funded by the likes of george clooney, oprah winfield (YEA, sure... she's not interested in running in2020!!), soros, etc.

Sorry, I can't make it. I'll be too busy reloading, for the impending defense I'm afraid we are going to have to take up before long!

YOT, Look closely at the photo you posted and tell me what you see and I'll tell you why it didn't work.

The Photo is full of Old Angry White Guys! Nobody want to hear from us. We're as much the enemy of everyone as the NRA and the Pro Lifers! Just ask HRC, she'll tell ya the truth.

Hillary will tell us the truth? That's some world class comedy right there. Of course, you need a sick sense of humor to appreciate it, but that means I'm all set!

State capital is over 8 hour drive, hard to do on short notice since it would required a day or two off at work. Now it they would hold a sister rally in the southern part of the state I would be there.

I don't do facebook either. I don't need the black helicopters over my place keeping me from my afternoon naps.

Well if you get Social Security Disability *Insurance* - it's in part because you worked a good portion of your life and paid into it. Now how that money has been managed by the goofs in D.C. is a whole different can of worms that will most likely never be fixed, just kicked down the road... until the road ends abruptly at a cliff...

On topic: if you can? I highly recommend you attend one of these events. You'll meet folks that share your values and maybe even make some new friends in the process.

Excuses are like opinions and orifices - everybody has one...

April 14th is a SATURDAY guys.

My state capital is nearly a 6 hour drive from me, but you bet your backside I will be there.

For anyone who doesn't FaceBook the date, time, and place for every state capital rally is posted here below.
No excuses. We can show Mr. Hogg and his backers that WE are opposed to them or we can NOT turn up and give all those "on the fence" the impression that the anti-2A crowd outnumbers US. It's that simple. Like the old saying. Fish or cut bait....
