This is about my Taurus and other brand 1911's

1. Will the Wilson Combat value line commander hammer generally work on Commander size and officers size 1911's?

2. Same question but with triggers in the commander size and officers size.

I want to change out the hammers and triggers on my commander and officers 1911's along with my full size PT1911's

Quick answer. Maybe!! The answer is as broad as the question. I'd need a whole lot more information.

I'm thinking about a gunsmith that's open on Saturdays right about now - and has solid knowledge of 1911s. The cruel mingaa wanted to answer "yes" but the angel on my shoulder stopped me in the nick of time. :)

Ok the pistols that I'm trying to change the triggers and hammers on are both American Tactical Imports, on is the FX Titan which is the officers size and the other is the FX GI in a commander size. I was going to order the Wilson combat value line hammers a d the polimer STI trigger. I also want to add the Wilson combat extended thumb safety. I plan on having a smith install the parts but I want to make sure I can use those parts on those size 1911's. or do I need to order parts that say officers model specifically

If you've got a competent gunsmith that you want to have do the work, ask him! I don't know the parts or the guns.

I agree with the cruel Mingaa... I want to say yes, but feel that a 'maybe' is a safer answer
The best thing to do would be to fire off an email to Wilson and STI and ask them directly. I have heard that Wilson is very good about
responding to their e-mails. I can tell you for a fact that STI is Excellent in responding, and will usually answer very fast.

What is the advantage of the polymer trigger?
