Hi All

I have a question about +P ammo for my 38 protector poly 38+P on the outside of the barrel it says +P but when I read what ammo I should use it says not to use +P if that is case then don't put on the gun that it is +P rated. The only I can think is if you use a steady diet of +P. Could someone shed a little light on this for me? Thanks for the help.

Probably generic manual for several different models. If your barrel is stamped for +P you are good to go.

I agree with Ozzy. You are good to go but remember that while your revolver is rated for +P, a steady diet of it over time will cause the gun to wear quicker. I suggest using standard pressure .38s for 95% of your shooting and use just enough of the +P stuff to stay sharp with it.

Regards,
Jon
