What is the consensus on the follow gun ideas?

im thinking of heavy bullets for hunting, and light and fast for personal defense at home. I know its all "big boy" stuff here. But id like to see what the women think, as part of the idea is something i can hunt with, and leave with my fiancee when im not home.
Sure a 7-8 shot 357 loaded with jhp would seem better then a 44 or 41, but you never know.

If you want a large caliber gun like that. I'd go with a heavy frame gun and get the wife used to shooting it if you are going to use it for home defense. Otherwise, get her something that she can shoot comfortably and consistently. My wife is deathly afraid of my 617 snub but can shoot a longer barreled revolver in .38 and even .38+P all day long.

I recently shot my friends Airweight Judge. That thing is 100% badass.

Just make sure she can pull the trigger in double action. My wife hates my 605 but loves her S&W M36. People will say:" just have her dry fire it 100 times a day" or "do hand strength excersizes". Yeah like that's going to happen.
