Yup, biting the bullet and got the 9mm Blued standard length G2. 1st time Taurus owner, not afaid to test the waters of renounced issues my buddies and the rest of the world claims to give Taurus semi's a bad name. I'm crossing my fingers, hoping of getting a later serialized model from my seller. Should be here today can't wait! Try to get it out to the range this weekend and show my new toy prove them otherwise!

Shi*s and giggles, anyone have photos of some attachments added to their G2?

Congrats on your new gun. Just make sure that you clean it really good before shooting. My 40 came with quite a bit of white grease in it. Welcome to the family.

Will do! What do you personally use for cleaning for the polymer frame?

Hopfully this will get you sold on the brand.

The Millennium Pro series sold me, and I 've never looked back. ;)

I also just purchased a 24/7 pro. I think this is part of the G2 line, but not 100%

I got to handle my g2 for a lil today and its full of a thick, sticky grease. I didn't get to take her home (waiting for papers to clear) but im happy with the purchase and even the store owner that i transferred the gun thru was very impressed with the build and what i paid. He compared it to the XD and SR9 models, and claims the G2 has a very nice feel and smooth light trigger. Made him a taurus believer now! Im very impressed with the build and handle of the gun, and i would like to try the different backstraps to see what i like.

Im very happy with what decision and choice i made. Now once i get it in my possession and get it all cleaned up out to the range... Oh and some G2 porn!

Looks like a nice weapon, seriously thinking about adding one to the arsenal. Just picked up 2 TCP's I will have to let the waters subside before I dare bring another handgun into the home before Christmas. Congrads on yours. Keep us posted!
